Carlos Arce-Abrego, B. Eng.

Carlos has been in the oil and gas industry for over ten years. Over half of this time, he worked for the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (now the AER). He is thoroughly familiar with the regulatory framework and operations dealing with wells, waste management facilities, and environmental audits. He brings over five years of experience working for the industry sector; primarily in the environmental, pipeline, and measurement areas. He has a chemical engineering technology diploma and an applied petroleum engineering degree. He is well acquainted with regulatory issues regarding measurement and reporting requirements, oilfield and drilling waste management and operations, injection and disposal wells, storage, pipelines and facilities requirements.
